.Leonie Roessler - Composer and Performer raised in Germany and the US, now based in The Hague, Netherlands. Leonie captures her environment through field recordings, which she uses for radio pieces, sound installations, and compositions for soloists and ensembles. She had recent residencies at New Media Society and Limited Access Festival (Iran), Forum Wallis (Switzerland), and The Story of Space Festival (India), and Berlin Circus Biennale (Germany). All that aside, she is currently using her field recordings from India to build sets for solo laptop performances.

The sounds that you hear throughout this piece include field recordings from the Swiss mountains, children playing, airplanes crossing, goats with small bells passing and the church bells ringing.

لیونی روسلر آهنگ‌ساز و اجراگر آلمانی، در دو کشور آلمان و آمریکا بزرگ شده و هم اکنون در شهر لاهه هلند ساکن است. لئونی با استفاده از ضبط‌میدانی محیط پیرامون خودش را ثبت کرده و از آن به عنوان عنصر اصلی آهنگسازانه خود استفاده می‌کند؛ او این کمپوزیسیون‌های خلق‌شده از اصوات دور و بر خود را در برنامه‌های رادیویی، چیدمان‌های صوتی و قطعه‌های نوشته شده برای آنسامبل ها و تکنواز‌ها استفاده می‌کند. او اخیرا به اجرا در جامعه نیومدیا و فستیوال دسترسی محدود در ایران، forum wails در سوئیس، the story of space فستیوال در هند، دوسالانه‌ی سیرک برلین در آلمان پرداخته است. او در کنار همه‌ی این فعالیت‌ها، او هم اکنون در حال استفاده از لپ‌تاپ خود برای اجراهای انفرادی خود مشغول است.
