This piece is a contribution from Leonie Roessler and Dirar Kalash, Leonie took some bits and pieces from the sounds from a performance with Dirar Kalash in which she played the guitar (nylon strings), she have used the recorded sounds as the material for her composition.

Leonie Roessler - Composer and Performer raised in Germany and the US, now based in The Hague, Netherlands. Leonie captures her environment through field recordings, which she uses for radio pieces, sound installations, and compositions for soloists and ensembles. She had recent residencies at New Media Society and Limited Access Festival (Iran), Forum Wallis (Switzerland), and The Story of Space Festival (India), and Berlin Circus Biennale (Germany). All that aside, she is currently using her field recordings from India to build sets for solo laptop performances.

Dirar Kalash is an experimental musician and improvisor from Palestine. Leonie Roessler is a composer, performer, and sound artist based in the Netherlands. The two met at the Institute of Sonology and started collaborating for a concert in Berlin in the summer of 2018; the piece you hear in the first compilation is the result of this collaboration
