Arshan Najafi (b. 2001) is a Tehran based Composer, Photographer and Poet. His first encounter with music was when he started playing the Violin at the age of 10. Six years later he decided to study Kamancheh (Persian Spike Fiddle) with #SabaAlizadeh.

"Yalda Raft" is a piece about the "Shab-e Yalda"it was also featured in the list of works that were selected by Spectro Center on the exact date of the subject "Yalda Night". READ HERE:

The piece incorporates sounds from Kamancheh, both the recording from the sound around the instrument's nut and notes played in "Chahargah" (Scale in Persian Music).
