Arshan Najafi (b. 2001) is a Composer, Sound Artist, Visual Artist and Poet. He started playing the Violin at the age of ten and later decided to study Kamancheh (Persian Spike Fiddle) with Saba Alizadeh.
This piece, “Transgression in Common City” for solo Flute was one of the selected pieces for Petrichor Records “Call for Young Iranian Composers” that led to some private lessons with Chaya Czernowin, Reza Vali, Arshia Samsaminia and Mohammad Amin Sharifi.
His pieces have been presented and published by Spectro Centre for New Music, Noise à Noise records, Petrichor Records, Unexplained Sounds Group, Cold Spring Records and XOR Space. His debut book “Twenty Wrong Turns” was published by Aso Publications in the summer of 2022 in Tehran.


ارشان نجفی (متولد سال ۱۳۸۰) آهنگساز، هنرمند صدا و هنرمند تجسمی و شاعر اهل تهران است. او موسیقی را ابتدا با نواختن ساز ویولن در ده‌سالگی شروع کرد و سپس تصمیم به یادگیری نواختن ساز کمانچه در کلاس درس صبا علیزاده پرداخت.
اثر او با عنوان «تخطی از شهر مشترک» برای تک‌نوازی فلوت یکی از قطعه‌های برگزیده برای «فراخوان آهنگسازان جوان ایرانی» شرکت پتریکور است، که این هنرمند به موجب آن قادر به دسترسی به کلاس‌های خصوصی درس موسیقی با …، رضا والی، ارشیا صمصامی‌نیا و محمد امین شریفی شده است.
آثار او پیش از این توسط «مرکز موسیقی نوین اسپکترو»، همچنین نویزاَنویز رکوردز، انتشارات پتریکور، گروه آن‌اکسپلیند ساوندز، کولد اسپرینگ رکوردز و XOR منتشر شده است. اولین کتاب او به عنوان «بیست گردش اشتباه» توسط انتشارات آسو در تابستان سال ۱۴۰۰ مورد چاپ قرار گرفته است.
