Independent label and artist collective ‘Noise à Noise’ is proudly presenting the debut solo album by Kian Hossein. The conception and production for “Non-“ started in 2019, it was a solo study project on prolongation and persistence of the various capabilities of sound using the piano as the only instrument on the list, in addition to an intricate set of delay and reverberation effect-units, an intricate network of delay and reverberation sound-effects is considered as the piece’s processing-core. The album is also going to be released also in the physical format.

Throughout the process, it also became a challenge to discover to what extent the artist can push the piano’s limits, in terms of its polyphonic nature. In other words, what other instruments can be found and used within the sound of the piano. Further after the development of the project, “Non-“ which was intended to be a musical study, turned out to be a ‘study of the self’.

Kian Hossein is a composer and sound designer hailing from Tehran, Iran. His musical journey commenced in 2006 when he began taking piano lessons. Over time, he developed a keen interest in electronic music and sound design, dedicating a significant portion of his free time to experimentation and self-study. Shortly after graduating from QIAU in 2012, he ventured into the professional world as a sound artist.
After a few years, his journey took a new direction as he discovered a profound passion for contemporary music and composition. He sought mentorship from the accomplished Nima Atrkar Rowshan and Ardavan Vosoughi.
Kian's works have graced various prestigious festivals and events, spanning the spectrum from music festivals to theatrical performances. He has actively participated in workshops and conferences and has collaboratively performed with fellow artists."

لیبل مستقل و جمع هنرمندان «نویزاَنویز» با افتخار انتشار اولین آلبوم موسیقی انفرادی «کیان حسین» را اعلام می‌نماید. تولید آلبوم «غیر-» از سال ۲۰۱۹ آغاز شد؛ پروژه‌ای انفرادی که بر پایه امتداد و استمرار بر قابلیت‌های بی‌شمار ساز پیانو به عنوان تنها ساز موجود در ارکستراسیون بنا شد که به همراه مجموعه‌ای پیچیده از جلوه‌های صوتی تاخیرزمانی [بازآوایی] و ریورب [پس‌آوایی] در طول قطعه شنیده می‌شود. جلوه‌های صوتی که به عنوان قلب پردازش‌کننده‌ی قطعه در نظر گرفته می‌شود.

کیان حسین آهنگساز و طراح‌صدای اهل تهران است. او آموختن موسیقی را در سال ۱۳۸۵ با دریافت آموزش ساز پیانو آغاز کرد. او به صورت تدریجی به موسیقی الکترونیک و طراحی صدا علاقه پیدا کرد، و بخشی از زمان آزاد خود را به تجربه‌ اندوزی در این زمینه به صورت خودآموخته اختصاص داد. او پس از اشتغال به عنوان هنرمند صدا علاقه خود به موسیقی معاصر را کشف کرده و به آموزش نزد آهنگسازانی مانند نیما عطرکار روشن و اردوان وثوقی پرداخت. آثار او تا به اینجا در رخدادهای گوناگون مورد اجرا قرار گرفته که شامل طیفی میان جشنواره‌های موسیقی و اجراهای صحنه‌ای می‌باشد.

“Noise á Noise” präsentiert das Debüt Soloalbum von Kian Hossein. Das Konzept und die Produktion für „NoN“ begann im Jahr 2019 als Soloprojekt, das im weiteren Verlauf die Möglichkeiten und Variationen des Sounds im Zusammenspiel auslotete. Das Piano als einziges Instrument und der Einsatz von zusätzlichen Elementen komplexer Halleffekte bildet das Herzstück dieses Werks. Das EP Album wird zusätzlich als Physical Format veröffentlicht werden.

Kian Hossein ist Komponist und Sound-Designer, lebt und arbeitet in Teheran, Iran. Er begann seine musikalische Ausbildung mit Klavierunterricht im Jahr 2006. Hiernach wuchs ebenfalls sein Interesse für elektronische Musik und Sound-Design, wonach er viel seiner Zeit in das Experimentieren mit diesem Genre und dem Selbststudium widmete. Nach seinem Studienabschluss an der QIAU im Jahr 2012 begann er die Arbeit als professioneller Sound Artist und entdeckte seine Leidenschaft für zeitgenössische Musik und Komposition. Ein Studium unter Nima Atrkar Rowshan und Ardavan Vosoughi’s schloss sich an. Seine Arbeiten wurden in einer Reihe von Festivals und Veranstaltungen aufgeführt, die Range reicht hier von klassischen Musikfestivals bis hin zu Theaterperformances. Seine Arbeit umfasst desweiteren die Teilnahme an Festivals und Workshops, sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Künstler:innen.
