Intolerance: The Discordant Note

We are proud to announce the release of the compilation albums for the late summer and the autumn in 2023, and the fact that we have not stopped working during the most difficult times of revolts, wars and killings of the innocent. ‘Noise à Noise 23.4: Intolerance’ is now on pre-order and will be released on November 3rd, 2023.

Intolerance which we know as a lack of tolerance/ unwillingness to tolerate or coexist, is the discordant note that festers in times of strife, sowing seeds of hatred and division [separation]. Standing as the antithesis of activism for peace. Intolerance fuels discrimination and violence. It takes advantage of fractures in societies, deepening the wounds prolonging conflicts during the revolutions, and sharpening the blades of hostility during the wars, pointing at those who dare to be different.

This compilation echoes the spirit of humanity in reverse, by highlighting sounds that can mirror the chaos and suffering as a result of intolerance. Yet this is very important to note that there lies a ‘call to action’ for peace in the solidarity against the forces of intolerance all to resist discord and to promote acceptance. Before you start listening to the album let’s remember the impacts of tolerance and intolerance during the times of social unrest, revolutions, and wars. We find hope, and strength in unity and solidarity, believing that they can ultimately win over divisions and discord.

This album is compiled during the first weeks of the autumn in 2023. Contributing artists were asked to embrace differences, reminding about acceptance to echo with the spirit of humanity by the sounds of acceptance and compassion. Here is where discordant ideas merge in the form of a synthesis, and we are sonically reflecting upon the images of intolerance to insist on the subjects of co-existence and compassion.

نابردباری: نت ناهماهنگ

نابردباری که به عنوان فقدان تحمل‌پذیری، یا عدم تمایل به رواداری یا همزیستی می‌شناسیم، اصوات ناهماهنگی است که در زمان کشمکش‌ شرایط را چرکین می‌کند، تخم کینه و جدایی را می‌کارد. همچنین به عنوان تقابلی علیه فعالیت برای صلح قد علم می‌کند. نابردباری، مانند سوخت، آتش تبعیض و توحش را شعله‌ور می‌کند. تحمل‌ناپذیری از شکاف‌های موجود در جوامع استفاده کرده و به عمق بخشیدن به زخم‌ها می‌شود. زخم‌ها باعث طولانی‌تر شدن مجادلات در هنگام قیام‌ها می‌شود و لبه‌ی شمشیر بی رحمی را در خلال جنگ‌ها تیز می‌کند. تیغی که به سوی هر تفکری بی محابا نشانه می‌رود. انسان‌های که متفاوت بودن را نشانی از یک جامعه متکثر می دانند، رواداری را لازمه امر رخداد می دانند.

َ این گردآوری، با اشاره به اصواتی که می‌توانند بازتاب دهنده‌ی آشوب و زجر ناشی از تحمل‌ناپذیری باشد، در روند معکوس و وارونه به یادآوری روح انسانی می‌پردازد. با این حال بسیار مهم است تا به «فراخوان برای کنشگری» برای صلح که در اتحاد برای رسیدن به صلح و در برابر با نیروهای نابردباری دقت داشته باشیم. تا بتوانیم همگی در برابر ناهماهنگی پایداری داشته باشیم. و قادر به اشاعه‌ی تکثر باشیم. دعوت می‌کنیم پیش از شنیدن این آلبوم اثرات رواداری در زمان آشوب، قیام مردم و جنگ ها را به خاطر داشته باشیم. ما در همبستگی و اتحاد به دنبال امید و تحمل هستیم، و اعتقاد داریم که اتحاد و همبستگی می‌تواند در نهایت موجب پیروزی در برابر جدایی ها و ناهمگانگی‌ها باشد.

این آلبوم در اولین هفته‌های ماه پاییز سال ۱۴۰۲ گردآوری شده است. مجموعه‌ای از اصوات که به نظر نه تنها به تکرار برای تاکید بر روح انسانیت، یا طنین انداختن با صدای پذیرش و عطوفت، بلکه به عنوان تلاشی بر بازتاب ایماژهایی هنگام گردآوری در نظر گرفته شده است.
