Tolerance: The Anthem of Unity

Noise à Noise is proud to announce the release of the compilation albums for the late summer and the autumn in 2023, and have not stopped working during the most difficult times of revolts, wars and killings of the innocent. An album that holds and reflects the sensation of the artists during the days of discovering about those catastrophic events.

Tolerance and Intolerance: A Binary Opposition in Times of Strife
During the days of rising tension, in the forms of social unrest, revolutions, and wars, the ideas of tolerance and intolerance stand as a binary opposition, shaping the course of history. It may be impossible to actively promote peace, or, at times, propose a call for unity and resistance against violence and prejudice without considering this binary opposition in the center.

Tolerance emerges as a symbol of unity and understanding during the times of upheaval–either as ‘an ability or willingness to tolerate the existence of opinions or behaviors that one may dislike to disagree with’ or ‘a capacity to endure continued subjection to something without adverse reactions’. Is the anthem of unity, that makes possible the dialogue over disagreement while fostering empathy in divisions, similar to a melody in a world of cacophony? Tolerance also becomes the outcry of the oppressed, where a society with diverse voices harmonizes for justice, or turns into a hand of solidarity, during the darkest hours of wars.

This set of sounds echoes the spirit of humanity, resonating with sounds of acceptance and compassion, and strives to reflect upon the strength and resilience in harmony against the blind agents of intolerance. This compilation was produced during the last weeks of summer 2023 and is now being released simultaneously with the next compilation which is considered for the autumn. The album will be on digital pre-order stage on October 16th on Bandcamp, and it will be released on November 3rd on the most online music distribution platforms.

رواداری و نابردباری: تقابلی دوگانه‌ در زمان کشمکش
در روزهایی که تنش‌ها و ناآرامی‌های اجتماعی در حال افزایش هستند، همچنین قیام‌های مردمی و وقوع جنگ‌ها، شاهد پیدایش بارزه‌هایی از مفاهیم بردباری و نابردباری به عنوان تقابلی دوگانه‌هستیم، دوگانه‌ای که جریان تاریخ را رقم می‌زند. نمی‌توان در زمان نیاز به یکپارچگی و پایداری، هنگامی که توحش و تبعیض‌ها در جریان است، بدون در نظر گرفتن این دوگانه در مرکز به صورت فعالانه‌ به دنبال برقراری صلح باشیم.

La tolérance émerge comme un symbole d'unité et de compréhension au moment de bouleversements, que ce soit en tant que « capacité ou volonté de tolérer l'existence d'opinions ou de comportements que l'on peut ne pas aimer ou avec lesquels on peut être en désaccord » ou en tant que « capacité à endurer une soumission continue à quelque chose sans réactions adverses ». Est-ce l'hymne de l'unité, qui rend possible le dialogue malgré les désaccords tout en favorisant l'empathie dans les divisions, similaire à une mélodie dans un monde cacophonique ? La tolérance devient également le cri des opprimés, où une société aux voix diverses s'harmonise pour la justice, ou se transforme en une main de solidarité pendant les heures les plus sombres des guerres.

Cet ensemble sonore fait écho à l'esprit de l'humanité, résonnant avec des sonorités d'acceptation et de compassion, et s'efforce de réfléchir à la force et à la résilience dans l'harmonie contre les agents aveugles de l'intolérance. Cette compilation a été produite pendant les dernières semaines de l'été 2023 et est maintenant publiée simultanément avec la prochaine compilation prévue pour l'automne.
